Occupational health includes all aspects of the occupational environment that can lead to illness if not properly evaluated and controlled. EH&S provides evaluations and guidance on wide-ranging topics, including noise, air contaminants, indoor air quality, local exhaust systems design and function, respiratory exposure and protection, skin exposure, ionizing radiation, non-ionizing radiation. The occupational health programs works closely with the occupational medicine (OM) group at student health services to offer medical evaluations.
